SEN Maths Teacher close to the Basingstoke Area

Paid to Scale - £150 - £230 per day

Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a SEN School in Basingstoke who are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher to start in January. This will be a temporary position where you will be teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school that was graded “Good” in all areas in their latest Ofsted inspection.

Overview:

Supply Desk are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a Secondary School based in the Basingstoke area on a long-term contract with the possibility of a permanent contract. The role would be starting in January with the possibility of going permanent to the right candidate.

The role:


  • Full Time (School open to Part time) – Monday to Friday
  • You will be required to teach Maths to KS3/4 students.
  • Planning and preparing for lessons which cater to all students
  • Marking and assessment to recap or extend the students learning as appropriate
  • Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment
  • Pay rates in line with teacher pay scale

About the School: 

The School is a mixed SEN School based in Basingstoke for students aged from 4 to 19 years with around 150 students in total. The School comes with an Outstanding reputation and has a supportive SLT that cares deeply for the Schools values. The school also has free parking onsite.

Requirements for the role:


  • Must experience teaching Maths up to and including GCSE
  • You will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to all students
  • Will be required to apply for an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service
