SEN Nursery Practitioner

We are currently recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to support children with SEN within a nursery in Stretford
This role is a permanent position for 16 hours over 5 days as a SEN Nursery nurse with the option for more hours as a Nursery Nurse supporting other children in the setting

What you need for the Nursery Practitioner role in Stretford, Greater Manchester

• Level 3 in Childcare.
• Sound knowledge of EYFS
• Organisational skills
• Interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive individual that loves working as a team
• Experience of working with children
• Punctuality, patience, reliability and trustworthiness.
• Be able to work between 3-5 full-days on a rota (3 days if part time)

Responsibilities of the SEN Nursery Practitioner in Farnworth include:

• Displaying a real passion for childcare.
• Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
• Observe and plan for your key children using the EYFS.
• Liaise with multi agencies involved in key childrens care
• Work with EHCP care plans
• Ensure the needs of the children are met, giving physical, emotional and intellectual guidance as appropriate.
• Lunch/snacks duty
• Promoting best practice in the nursery.
• Effectively supporting team members
