- Classroom Assistance: Help with classroom activities, maintaining a safe and positive learning space.
- Personal Care: Provide necessary personal care, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene support.
- IEP Implementation: Assist in executing individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of classroom teachers.
- Encourage Engagement: Foster a nurturing atmosphere to boost student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care and education.
What They're Looking For:
- Experience with children with special educational needs is a plus but not required.
- Ability to manage and respond positively to challenging behaviour.
- Willingness to provide personal care when needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation due to location and off-site activities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a true passion for supporting children with SEN.
