Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented humanities teacher to join a secondary academy in south Manchester.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from January 2025 to April 2025.

The Role

Teacher of Religious Education and History

Five days a week 8.20am to 3.20pm

The timetable is 75% RE , 25% History

Teacher of Core Religious Education lessons with a focus on developing open- minded and empathetic learners supporting British Values

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to a broad range of beliefs and cultures.

The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching Religious Education to students aged 11 to 18.

• Hold QTS Status or QTLS
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
