Teaching Assistant Advert - Secondary School in Whitefield (Bury)

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their educational journey? Do you have experience working with students in an educational setting? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our secondary school in Whitefield (Bury).

Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Whitefield, Bury
Salary: Up to £100 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm
Contract: Temporary with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to students across various subjects.
• Assist with 1-1 duties to support students with specific learning needs.
• Help teachers with the delivery of lessons and classroom management.
• Encourage student participation and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Provide assistance with administrative tasks as required.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience working with young people in an educational capacity.
• A strong understanding of secondary school-age students' learning needs.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for education.
