Package Details:




  • �35,000 - �40,000 per annum

  • Bonus scheme

  • Life assurance at 3x annual salary

  • 24 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays



The Role of the Tender / Bid Engineer



As the Tender/Bid Engineer, you will play a crucial role in preparing and submitting bids for electrical products and services, focusing on projects involving high-voltage systems. You will engage closely with clients to understand their requirements and work alongside a tight-knit internal team to ensure high-quality, tailored submissions that meet technical specifications and business objectives.



Key Responsibilities of the Tender / Bid Engineer:




  • Prepare and submit bids and tenders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation. Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications to provide precise quotations, focusing on projects related to underground cable networks and high-voltage technology.

  • Communicate directly with clients to understand project requirements and expectations, attending customer meetings biweekly and transitioning into a hybrid role once fully integrated.

  • Work closely with the sales team, including the Sales Manager and support staff, to streamline the tendering process.�

  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the tendering process, enhancing efficiency and success rates.



Required Experience:




  • Degree or relevant experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Proven experience in preparing bids, tenders, and quotations

  • Strong understanding of underground cable networks and associated electrical systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
