I am looking for a Trades Supervisor to join a Housing Association in Cambridgeshire. The Trades Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day to day repairs and maintenance, ensuring that they are carried out to a high standard. This role benefits from a company Van.
Trades Supervisor duties: - Overseeing day to day repairs and maintenance, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard
- Inspecting works completed to ensure these represent value for money e.g. efficient use of materials
- Maintaining compliance for health and safety, ensuring this is promoted and adhered to
- Handling complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations
- Working with colleagues to ensure work is arranged, prioritised and completed in an efficient manner
- Included in an out of hours rota as supervisor contact a minimum of once every 9 weeks
What is required for the role: - To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject.
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
- Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)
