Role: UX / UI Designer
Work model: Hybrid
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE
Location: Essex
My client is looking for a UX / UI Designer with at least 6 years of agency experience to join their team in the heart of Essex.
What will you do:
Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviours
Create visually appealing, brand-aligned designs that enhance user engagement and support usability.
Design interfaces that provide a seamless experience across various devices and screen sizes.
Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback, identify issues, and refine designs based on user interactions.
Work closely with developers and the wider team to align on design feasibility, functionality, and implementation.
Gather and analyse feedback from users and team members, iterating on designs to enhance both usability and aesthetics.
Manage timelines and deliverables for design projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives.
Keep on top of industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Your experience:
At least 6 years of working in an agency environment.
Educated to degree level in a relevant field
High proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of other industry standard tools such as Sketch and InVision would be a bonus
Experience with leading a team / mentoring and guiding junior designers is also beneficial
Strong communication skills
An excellent portfolio to back your experience
