About the Role:
Vibe Recruit's Automotive team is currently working with a well-established client in the Nottingham area to find a skilled and motivated **Workshop Technician** to join their team in an HGV setting. As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a fleet of HGVs, ensuring that all vehicles meet the highest safety and operational standards. You will work alongside a team of experienced technicians, using your knowledge and expertise to keep the fleet running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of HGVs, including inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Work on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within the vehicles.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, meeting health and safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of all work completed and parts used.
- Assist with the preparation and planning of scheduled servicing and MOTs.
- Diagnose and rectify faults, using diagnostic equipment and industry-standard tools.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Liaise with the workshop manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an HGV technician, mechanic, or similar role.
- Knowledge of HGV systems and components.
- Ability to work on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- A valid HGV driving license is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
