We are currently recruiting two experienced Locum Social Workers to join our dedicated teams in South Wales. If you're passionate about supporting children, young people, and families while working in a friendly and collaborative environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

📌 Available Roles:

🔹 1 x Social Worker - Family Support & Protection
We're looking for an experienced social worker with recent court work experience to join our Family Support & Protection Team. This team plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of children and young people.

💼 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct assessments and develop outcome-focused plans to improve children's welfare
✔ Work with families to provide early intervention and targeted support
✔ Manage high-level statutory intervention cases, including Child Protection, private and public law cases
✔ Prepare detailed written evidence and reports for legal proceedings
✔ Support adoption processes, including working through to the adoption order

🔹 1 x Social Worker - Long-Term Team (Children Looked After, etc.)
We also have an opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Long-Term Team, supporting Children Looked After (CLA). This role focuses on ensuring stability, permanency planning, and achieving the best outcomes for children in care.

💼 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Manage a varied caseload of CLA, permanency planning, and complex care arrangements
✔ Work closely with multi-agency partners to provide tailored support for children and young people
✔ Advocate for children, ensuring their voices are heard and that they receive the best possible support
✔ Support young people transitioning to independent living
✔ Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and care plans

🔎 What We're Looking For:

✔ Qualified Social Worker with Social Care Wales registration
✔ Recent court work experience (for the Family Support & Protection role) ⚖️
✔ Proven experience working within safeguarding, children in need, child protection, and CLA services
✔ Strong assessment, risk management, and case planning skills 📑
✔ Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, conducting both in-office and community-based assessments 🚗🏠
