πΉ 1 x Social Worker - Family Support & Protection
We're looking for an experienced social worker with recent court work experience to join our Family Support & Protection Team. This team plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of children and young people.
πΌ Key Responsibilities:
β Conduct assessments and develop outcome-focused plans to improve children's welfare
β Work with families to provide early intervention and targeted support
β Manage high-level statutory intervention cases, including Child Protection, private and public law cases
β Prepare detailed written evidence and reports for legal proceedings
β Support adoption processes, including working through to the adoption order
πΉ 1 x Social Worker - Long-Term Team (Children Looked After, etc.)
We also have an opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Long-Term Team, supporting Children Looked After (CLA). This role focuses on ensuring stability, permanency planning, and achieving the best outcomes for children in care.
πΌ Key Responsibilities:
β Manage a varied caseload of CLA, permanency planning, and complex care arrangements
β Work closely with multi-agency partners to provide tailored support for children and young people
β Advocate for children, ensuring their voices are heard and that they receive the best possible support
β Support young people transitioning to independent living
β Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and care plans

β Qualified Social Worker with Social Care Wales registration
β Recent court work experience (for the Family Support & Protection role) βοΈ
β Proven experience working within safeguarding, children in need, child protection, and CLA services
β Strong assessment, risk management, and case planning skills π
β Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, conducting both in-office and community-based assessments ππ
