Position Overview:As a .NET Developer, the successful candidate will play an integral part in our growing and dynamic software team. Collaborating closely with the Head of Software Development, they will contribute to various development projects aimed at delivering key requirements to the business in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Key Responsibilities:- Participating in the development of financial market software solutions, with a focus on currency and FX.- Engaging in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).- Working effectively in small, agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.- Contributing to both back-end and front-end development tasks. Essential Skills:- Strong understanding of Financial Markets, particularly Currency and FX.- Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.- Experience working in small, agile teams.- Competency in both back-end and front-end development. Essential Technical Skills:- Development Languages: C# on ASP.Net Core.- Frontend Framework: React (some experience required). Desirable Technical Skills:- Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.- Database: MS SQL Server.- CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps.- Azure Service: Azure Active Directory Authentication, Key Vault, Azure Service Bus.- Monitoring Tools: Azure monitoring, Application Insights, and Gray Logs.- Project Management Tools: Jira & Confluence.- Other Desirable Skills: Python, Databricks, Power BI, WinForms.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
