Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with complex needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in Cardiff as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant.

Role: 1-1 Teaching Assistant (SEN)
Location: Cardiff
Start Date: September

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-1 support to a child with complex needs in a mainstream primary school setting
• Assist with the child's physical needs, including personal care
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support learning activities
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and record the child's progress and communicate effectively with the SENCO and parents

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Confidence in supporting children with physical needs, including personal care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment
• Relevant qualifications in SEN support (desirable)
