Location: Winsford, Cheshire
Pay: £88.92 - £100.53 per day (dependent on payroll choice)
Start Date: September 2025

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our exceptional special school team. We support students aged 11-17 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs, including speech, language, communication challenges, and behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to a specific student, helping them achieve their full potential in a caring and supportive environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, your key duties include:

• Providing tailored support to a specific student both in and out of the classroom.
• Assisting with learning difficulties, speech, language, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies for the student.
• Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.
• Helping the student progress towards their individual learning goals.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar SEN environment is preferred.
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to high standards of support for students.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
