1-to-1 SEN Teaching Assistant Brent, NW London ASAP Start
Clarus Education are looking for a dedicated 1-to-1 SEN Teaching Assistant ahead of a September start. This is a full time & long-term role for the entire academic year, minimum.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role will require the successful applicant to support a lovely girl in Reception with Autism (ASD/ ASC) on a 1-to-1 basis. You will have extensive training and will meet with the SENCO weekly to discuss her progress.
You will work alongside the Speech & Language Therapist, Drama Therapist and Educational Psychologist to devise an effective intervention timetable. You will then need to plan and deliver a range of interventions whilst tracking and monitoring her progress.
We are ideally searching for a 1 st Class/ 2:1 Psychology graduate who is eager to put their theoretical knowledge into practice whilst also using their initiative and getting stuck in from the very start. However, it is crucial that you have previous experience supporting children with SEN in some capacity.
