11 Tutor - Blackburn

Job Description Prospero Teaching is recruiting for an experience 1:1 Tutor in Blackburn, experience within a SEN setting is required.
We are a Teaching Agency , that strives to make a positive impact in young people's lives by supporting their development and education. Our Children's Education Team work with local authorities throughout the North-West to support vulnerable pupils currently outside of mainstream education.
Subjects' areas include Maths, English & Science.
Contract/Position Details:
Location - within the community or pupils' home in Blackburn.
Position - 1:1 Tutor
Type of work - Contract
Start date - ASAP
Duration - ongoing support
Part-time
Minimum rate of pay - £25/hr+
Hours - 8am - 4pm*
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on Update Service
Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
2 years of professional references
QTS or equivalent Tutoring experience.
Experience working within a SEN setting (preferred)
Further Information:
The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic and be able to create/deliver learning plans on a 1:1 basis. A therapeutic approach may also be needed to re-engage students with their learning. The aim is to provide the pupil with structure in their daily routine and ...
