My client is looking to hire a Group Learning & Development Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract to develop and implement a learning strategy that supports their talent and succession plans. The role involves designing creative learning content, collaborating with leadership teams, and fostering a culture of self-led learning and professional development. This role is 4 days a week and is hybrid.

Description
- Developing and executing the Learning & Development plan to support professional growth across all levels of the organization.
- Designing and facilitating creative learning programs that align with the company's strategy.
- Collaborating with department heads and the People team to identify skill gaps and create targeted training solutions.
- Leveraging L&D technologies and methodologies to deliver engaging learning experiences.
- Co-creating and embedding a behavioral framework to promote inclusion and a unified company culture.
- Upskilling People Managers through targeted support programs, including coaching and mentoring.
- Continuing to enhance performance, development, and career conversations.
- Building relationships with educational providers to increase participation in levy-funded courses.
- Implementing technical training initiatives based on business needs.
- Measuring the effectiveness of L&D programs and using data to refine and improve offerings.
- Promoting a learning culture that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous development.
- Managing the L&D budget and negotiating contracts with external providers.
Profile
- Exceptional ability to design, develop, and facilitate training programs that captivate and educate diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of L&D best practices, adult learning theories, and the application of technology in learning and development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating employees at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to link L&D initiatives to business outcomes.
- Experience in managing L&D projects from conception through to evaluation, demonstrating tangible improvements in employee performance and engagement.
- Proactive and self-motivated, resilient in the face of multiple demands, with the ability to prioritise activity and manage stakeholder expectations.
