The role:
As a key part of the Commercial, Regulation and Supply Chain team, within our Strategic Infrastructure business, you will be crucial in working with our senior commercial leads to coordinating our teams activities as we support the effective delivery of these critical projects.
You will work alongside senior leaders in the business to help plan, monitor and coordinate the work needed to keep us on track with delivering our key objectives and ensuring all leaders understand where our workplan in the delivery process. You will also need be able to horizon scan and proactively identify risk to help our teams respond and stay on track by implementing mitigating actions.
Responsibilities:
� Collaborating within our team and across projects to define, prioritise, and develop workplans to support us in achieving our objectives.
� Planning of activities, including setting deadlines, prioritising and ensuring ownership of actions and deliverables is clear across the team members. This includes taking ownership of delivering relevant actions.
� Support with creating draft reports, meeting logistics, workshop content and drafting meeting notes in support of the senior leaders in the business unit. This includes capturing outputs allocating ownership of tasks and monitoring their completion.
� Stakeholder engagement tracking, ensuring the right people go to the right meetings, are aware of key messages and are reviewing the right deliverables.
� Providing a first line review of relevant outputs and driving consistency and ensuring quality standards are upheld within the team
� Drafting new and improving existing team policies and processes. This includes, identifying and implementing any digitisation opportunities.
� Monitoring and tracking issues across project delivery teams.
� Coaching and developing colleagues in your area of expertise.
Requirements:
� Highly organised with excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
� Strong commercial acumen
� Contract management understanding.
� Detail-oriented with the ability to step back and recognise the bigger picture
� Good interpersonal and ability to multi-task with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
� Experience of working within large projects or programmes ideally within the Energy Sector or other regulated environments.
� Flexible and adaptable to change and excellent when working both independently and as part of a team
