Description
- Overseeing and managing all IT operations within the institution.
- Developing and implementing IT policies and best practices.
- Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in a timely manner.
- Managing and coordinating all IT-related matters with vendors and partners.
- Managing the IT department's budget while seeking cost-effective technology solutions.
- Ensuring effective IT support is available to all staff and students.
- Staying updated with the latest technology trends relevant to the educational sector.
Profile
A successful 2/3rd Line Technical Specialist should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar IT management role within the not-for-profit or education sector.
- Strong knowledge of system and network security, databases, and data storage systems.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
