Randstad Education is looking for a new and unique role for one of our schools in Romford. We are looking for a Science teacher with a leading background, the successful candidate will effectively lead and motivate our school team, building strong partnerships with other professionals and agencies to enhance our school community.

This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start date!

Requirements


  • Must Hold QTS/QTLS
  • Have a proven track record of successfully teaching science to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Right to work in the UK - this is essential
  • Must provide 2 proven professional references - this is essential
  • Possess or willing to obtain a DBS Certificate on the update service
  • The ability to lead curriculum development and innovation

Responsibilities


  • Plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate lessons and learning as part of the school curriculum

  • Share and develop best practice to set the highest standards for teaching and learning
  • Observe teaching with an open-door approach
  • Contribute to the Science department's curriculum development
  • Openly communicate with all members of the department
