3.5 Tonne Drivers



Pay Rate: £14 p/h



Shift: Part time, day shift – 1 or 2 shifts per week



Location: Off the M5 near Durlsey




  • Are you a 3.5 tonne driver looking for 1 or 2 extra shifts per week?

  • Are you looking to wind down your working week and have experience of driving a range of category B vehicles, such as, Long Wheel Based and High-Top Vans?

Drivers will be working on the behalf of a leading, prestigious automotive company who have operations Worldwide.



The Role:
Key responsibilities for successful candidates:




  • Safely and precisely manoeuvring 3.5 tonne vehicles within a large and busy compound.

  • Bay parking vehicles within the compound.

  • Conducting vehicle inspections before movement and reporting any damages.

  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions, while wearing vehicle-friendly workwear and safety boots.



Skills and Experience Needed:



Successful candidates will need to be able to…




  • Demonstrate their previous experience of driving light commercial vehicles, including long wheel based and high-top vans.

  • Hold a driving licence with a valid B category, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.

  • For insurance purposes successful candidates will need to have driven category B vehicles for a minimum of 90 days within the last 1 year.

  • Be confident to manoeuvre a range of vans within a busy compound environment.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a professional work attitude.

  • Have a strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
