3D CAD Technician/Estimator

First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a CAD Engineer/Estimator for their client based in Derby who specialise in structures in residential and commercial projects.

As a 3D CAD Technician/Estimator, you will play a critical role in the design and estimation process for our projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings, as well as providing accurate cost estimates to support our project proposals. Your expertise will ensure that our projects are well-planned, efficiently executed, and meet the highest standards of quality.

The Role:

• Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings based on project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to develop design concepts and solutions.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a 3D CAD Technician or Estimator in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
