3rd Line Technical Support Engineer - Managed ServicesA leading Managed IT Services Provider in the UK are in search of a skilled 3rd Line support engineer to join the team in NI!Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer to join a growing team. In this role, you will be the final escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert analysis and solutions to ensure exceptional customer service. You will also play a key role in knowledge sharing and development by delivering advanced technical training to other support team members.Responsibilities:Provide 3rd line technical support for hardware and software issues across all our service offerings (cloud, cybersecurity, data management, etc.)Act as the final escalation point for the support team, resolving the most complex technical problemsConduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying cause of technical issues and prevent recurrenceDevelop and deliver advanced technical training to the support team to enhance their skillsetManage the timely resolution of open calls and call actions for all customersTake ownership of assigned incidents and manage them through to resolutionEnsure efficient escalation of any technical or operational issues on service ticketsResearch and develop solutions for complex technical problems, adhering to strict SLA timeframesProvide on-site support to customers as requiredSkills & Experience:Proven experience as a 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer or similar roleStrong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server (#####,#####6 & 2019)Expertise in O365 and its complimentary add-ons (OneDrive, Teams, Flow, Planner, Delve etc.)Advanced troubleshooting skills in virtualization platforms (HyperV/VMware)Advanced experience troubleshooting firewalls (WatchGuard/SonicWall)Strong knowledge of advanced networking conceptsAdvanced skills in Intune/MDM solutionsExperience troubleshooting storage solutions (SANs & NAS)In-depth knowledge of advanced Exchange and SQL Server troubleshootingFamiliarity with antivirus solutions (particularly ESET & Sophos)Excellent understanding of advanced firewall and networking technologies (managed switching, VLANs)Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issuesITIL Foundation accreditedFull clean UK drivers license required for client-site travelBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentContinuous learning and development opportunitiesMake a real impact on the success of our clientsBonus paid upon completion of certifications
