Management Accountant / Chester / £50k-£53k / 6 months / Hybrid
Accountable Recruitment are working with a financial services company based in Chester for a Management Accountant to join them on a 6 month fixed-term contract.
Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts reporting on all cost variances.
Day to day duties will include:
Working collaboratively in the Finance team to challenge how things are done, improve processes and deliver automation where possible.
Responsible for the preparation of Month End reporting.
Responsible for managing costs and working closely with the business departments to ensure adherence to the budget / forecast through monthly reviews.
Working closely with the Financial Accountant to ensure payments to third parties align with the cost management and PO process.
Responsible for the annual budget and quarterly forecast process, maintaining the models, inputs and assumptions.
Support the Finance Manager and Financial Accountant with the external audit process and arising queries.
Candidate Requirements:
Skills: Collaborative, Good Communicator, Strong Excel Skills
