7.5 Tonne Driver

Job Title:  7.5 Tonne Driver required.

Location: LE9  Leicestershire

Salary: between £13 per hour 40 hr week. Time and a half for overtime worked, Monday to Friday with No weekend work .

Shift: Days, Monday to Friday

Type: PAYE

Start Date: Immediately  

We are hiring a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join a dynamic business on the outskirts of Leicester. You will be responsible for the delivery and pick up of pallets. This is a fast-paced environment, and you will be an important part of this team helping to continue the growth of the business. You’ll become a member of a supportive team that works together to create an unbeatable service. A counter balance license is preferable but not essential as the client will put you through training.

Duties of a 7.5 Tonne Driver

• 7.5 Tonne license essential with a maximum of 6 points.
• Must be 21 years of age or above for insurance purposes.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws, maintaining a high standard of safety at all times.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Load and unload goods, securing loads for transportation.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and log any issues or discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service, representing our company in a professional and friendly manner.

Skills and experience of a 7.5 Tonne Driver

• Valid Class 7.5 Tonne driving license.
• Digital Tachograph Card experience.
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road regulations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
