Connect Driver Solutions are looking for a 7.5 Tonne Driver.

\n

Location: King's Road, London (SW6)

\n

Please note that there is no parking available on-site, but there are excellent public transport links in the area.

\n

Pay Rate: £18 per hour (overtime after 39 hours per week paid at £27 per hour)

\n

We are looking for a 7.5 Tonne Driver who can work as part of a 2-man crew delivering high-end furniture across London & surrounding areas - heavy lifting can be involved within this role so candidates need to be physically fit.

\n

Our ideal candidate with have experience Previous experience dealing with high end furniture or removals. Experience with route planning or able to plan routes across London & South would be an advantage

\n

Your Responsibilities as a 7.5 Tonne Driver:

\n

\n
• Operate 7.5T vehicles safely and efficiently, as well as smaller vehicles on occasion
\n
• Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
\n
• Comply with WTD, driver hours & rest periods
\n
• Provide a white glove service delivering high-end furniture to customers
\n
• Carry out site visits, checking access and suitability for furniture deliveries
\n
• Prepare lorry for furniture, including fitting timber shelving, placing furniture as required
\n
• Some joinery work may be required including assembling beds and fitting bases etc. at customer premises
\n
• Support London showroom site with general labouring and maintenance tasks
\n

\n

What You Need as a 7.5 Tonne Driver:

\n
• Valid CAT 1 licence/7.5T
\n
• Minimum 1 years' experience with Class 1 vehicles
\n
• Valid DQC and digital tacho cards
\n
• Previous experience dealing with high end furniture or removals would be desirable
\n
• No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
\n
