7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver
4 Days out of Monday to Saturday (Rota) 06:00 - 11:00 starts
Pay Rate: £12.71 PER HOUR

People Solutions are recruiting 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery drivers for our well established client based in Leeds. This role will be on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a 7.5t Driver will involve but not be limited to:
House delivery of furniture and white goods and TV's
You will be doing around 30 deliveries per day around the North West
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Maintain accurate records of shipment and mileage
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
Drive 7.5 Tonne vehicle safey and efficiently
Work as part of a 2 man team
Follow company policies and procedures
Comply with driving rules and regulations
Essential Skills
Must undertake a DBS check
Hold a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
Hold a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicles
No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
Must be able to speak and read good level of English
Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required
Excellent customer service skills
Desirable Experience
Experience working as part of a 2 person team making home deliveries.
What training is provided?
Driving Assessment to be completed before starting
Full training will be provided for this role after successful assessment
