7.5t Driver

Direct response Employment Services are working with varied clients across the Wiltshire and Somerset areas and we are looking for reliable drivers to cover on-going and Ad-hock driving work, driving a 7.5t vehicle.�

Key responsibilities of a 7.5t driver:

Safe driving:�Operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle in accordance with road traffic laws and company safety guidelines.

Delivery execution:�Completing deliveries to various customer locations within a designated area, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Loading and unloading:�Loading and securing cargo onto the vehicle, and unloading deliveries at customer premises, potentially requiring manual handling.

Paperwork management:�Completing delivery paperwork, including signature capture and recording delivery details.

Vehicle checks:�Conducting pre-shift vehicle inspections, reporting any faults or defects to the appropriate personnel.

Compliance with regulations:�Adhering to driving hours regulations and tachograph usage.

You will have prior experience of driving a 7.5t vehicle along with have at least 6 months commercial driving experience and be aged over 25 years with no more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes.�

You must have held your license for at least 1 years and have a valid Digi Card and CPC in place.�
