Snr Account Manager/Account Director Our Client Is an integrated media & communications agency of 45+ working for and partnering with some of the best tourism boards, travel companies and airlines partners in the world, including Visit California, Japanese National Tourism Office, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and more. Our client occupies a unique niche as the only full-service travel and tourism specialist agency in the UK offering Creative, Media, PR & B2B services. They have been awarded for some of the most effective creative, integrated and experiential campaigns in travel and tourism. They have been recently acquired by one of the US s most exciting travel and tourism consultancies and are working closely with them on our next phase of growth and expansion. The role: We are looking for an excellent and well-rounded account handler. You will be an experienced Snr Account Manager or an Account Director ideally having worked in an integrated or full-service agency and able to work across disciplines. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of one of the agency's longest-standing clients, Visit California, managing UK and European creative and partnership campaigns. Visit California views the agency almost as an in-house agency and as such, they work very closely with their team. The SAM/AD role will work with the agencies bespoke California-specialist team including the Communications Director, Head of Creative and Strategy, a Travel Trade Director and the paid media team. On the client side you will work directly with the Client VP and Director of International Marketing for California on an almost daily basis. In addition to Visit California you will work on large strategic and creative campaigns for other clients as opportunities arise. No day to day is never the same: Campaign delivery and management among other things this role will support the Visit California Communications Director with partnerships and campaigns with national airline carriers. This will include ideation and delivery, budget management, client counsel and reporting. Team mentoring and development of the Digital & Creative team New business development - we're looking for creativity, strong writing and presenting skills, and next level organisation Collaboration - working with and into global agencies and new US partner Agency development - continually striving for ways to improve agency collaboration and efficiency and there is always a place for your voice (at any level) to be heard here Office days (full company) are Tues, Weds & Thurs. WFH days are Monday & Friday, but the office is always open for staff. Hours are 9am - 6pm, with flexibility for things like childcare. About you: You will be a skilled communicator with experience of managing large-scale campaigns and budgets and working with highly strategic clients. Ideally you will have experience working in the travel industry. However, personality, strategic thinking and an ability to lead people and projects is more important than previous industry experience! You will lead all campaigns from plan, to production, to implementation. You will also be accountable for all deliveries of reports and post campaign analysis to the client. A con dent people manager, you will support and develop the team, identifying individual s strengths and opportunities for growth. You will build on the existing team culture of creativity, openness and collaboration and continue to develop success for the department. You will also work closely with the PR and Trade Account Directors, producing reports, presentations and industry POVS and as such should be experienced working cross-functionally/collaboratively. The agency is growing rapidly and this role is crucial in helping lead the expanding creative, strategy and media teams and its portfolio of international work.
