Permanent Account Director at a boutique independent agency working across an impressive client list that includes a global retailer, an award-winning SaaS business and more!Location: Hybrid/Remote – London/BrightonSalary: Up to £60k, Plus Great Benefits!Please apply if you have extensive digital experience at an independent agencyThis is a unique opportunity to join an award-winning independent agency and partner with some of the world’s leading companies across B2B and B2C brands within FMCG, automotive and more.Responsibilities:Deliver key client projects on time, on budget and ensure client satisfactionSuggest ways to improve the agency’s systems and processesEnsure all content, deliverables, and designs work for the client’s objectivesLead on managing budgets for projects including profit and loss accounts and marginsMentoring junior team membersLead on the client account including upselling and new business opportunitiesManage all aspects of the account from project brief, scope of works, leading client calls and planning out all project key milestones and timelines, management of project plan and schedule across all areas through to on-site delivery.Report monthly to the MD on account development and targetsProduce detailed proposals including venue research, strong negotiation, proposal writing and supplier relationsEnsure insurance, legal, compliance, health and safety obligations are adhered to for all projectsProduce ROI reports with recommendations to clientsWorking closely with other areas of the business such as the Creative team to manage client briefs through the Studio resource management trackerTo oversee workload/cover in other team member’s absence, taking care of client queries and requirementsKeep up to date with industry news and knowledge and share learnings with the Client Services teamAttend relevant trade shows and FAM trips/supplier/business development events, to build and maintain relationships & network with industry colleaguesLiaise and attend meetings/client entertaining with other staff to aid business and organisational developmentMaintaining strong relationships with all existing and new suppliersSkills:Expert in building long standing relationships with clientsMust have previous experience working in an Account Director role within an independent agencyExperience of working for a Digital agency is preferredCritique and challenge solutions in all proposals to ensure the best output from the agencyHigh standard of communications; ensuring clients are always up to date with the status of their projectsAs well as leading on proposals, you will be an expert in upselling and new businessManaging budgets, flagging overspends and issues before they happenMentor junior members of the team to develop and growProactively suggest ways to improve our systems and processes to make everything easier and efficient for everyoneCompany Benefits include:Competitive Salary Package + BonusFlexible working hours, Monday – Friday – Hybrid/Agile workingCompany eventsCompany pensionCycle to work schemePrivate dental insurancePrivate medical insurance
