PR Account Director - consumer techGlobal PR AgencyCentral London/hybridThis global PR agency are looking for an Account Director to lead client account activity on an extremely high profile consumer tech client. Your role will range from planning through to execution, overseeing account teams, resolving issues and working with the senior team on new business opportunities.Key duties will include:Responsibilities· Client handling with minimum day to day support of the Director· Develop and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of your clients business and marketing objectives, including industry sectors issues, key competitors and broader business objectives and challenges· Attend client meetings and demonstrate an ability to discuss campaign and issues or challenges with authority and confidence· Setting and managing the evaluation criteria for each campaign ensuring that optimal results are achieved on behalf of the client· Advise clients on media related issues/opportunities providing them with strategic rationale they can understand· Manage client satisfaction· Proactively craft and place stories, shape broad industry themes and story lines, and negotiate client inclusion in coverage· Manage client budgets and budget reporting working closely with the Associate Director/Director· Working with your team to generate and respond to new business leadsTo be considered you must have:· PR experience that has been gained in a consumer Tech environment· Strong analytical and problem solving skills· Effective time management i.e. meeting deadlines and prioritising· Identify areas for improvement with regard to the company and lead change where appropriate· Team management experience preferredPLEASE NOTE: As much as we would love to respond to all applicants, due to the sheer volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to unsuccessful candidates.
