We're looking for an Account Executive (Consumer) to work across some of the biggest clients in our roster in our Consumer practice.This is a unique opportunity in an agency that truly values and invests in people. From wellbeing days to private medical insurance Citizen Relations offers a full package of benefits.OVERVIEW:The Account Executive is a crucial part of the team, providing support to the wider team across a broad range of tasks including, but not limited to - administration, media relations, influencer marketing, coverage monitoring and reporting, writing and research. As the foundation of the account team, an Account Executive needs to be a proactive and organised individual, who is excited by the prospect of learning new skills every day and is always curious and inquisitive about the tasks they are asked to complete. At this level, we want to see organisational prowess to run a smooth account, as well as starting to build your confidence and creativity on all things from delivering updates on client calls, to submitting your ideas for new projects. KEY COMPETENCIES: Client Relations: Confidently presents/counsel's client within their own area of expertise - for example, influencer or media recommendations. Can contribute and communicate updates on status calls and team meetings, as well as offer counsel based on areas of expertise. Is seen as an important team member by clients with a good understanding of their businesses, as well as the media / influencer landscape. Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and succinctly. Demonstrates highly efficient listening skills, and consistently communicates with team members to ensure they are completely clear on a task before delivering on it. Writing is also a core skill in PR and you will begin to be trained on how to write press releases and other copy, for example social posts. You take an active interest in the industry your clients exist within, becoming familiar with the influencers and media titles relevant to that sector, and the trends affecting it.Campaign Execution: You show keen attention to detail and accuracy in your supporting role during the execution of a campaign. You demonstrate pro-activity in executing own campaign actions and take accountability for work, and pride in presenting it back to the team. You are able to develop and follow a simple project plan and can support in execution of programs and tactics, including but not limited to: Gift bag and event preparation | Confirming meetings, both client meetings and internal team meetings | Sets-up/takes-down meetings | Takes notes at team meetings | Manages mail merges, or mail merge services | Maintains files | | Books travel for team members.Account Management: Ensures that all key account management documents are updated every day, are completed accurately and presented without mistakes. You have familiarised yourself with budget cost trackers and you ensure that they are kept up to date as costs are incurred throughout campaigns/day-to-day running of the account. You are able to provide updates in client calls and meetings on media relations. You bring creativity and media insights to brainstorms.
