Position:             Account Manager – POS


Location:             Leicester (office based)


Salary:                 Circa £38,000



This is a great opportunity for an experienced client facing accounts manager looking for their next career move to work in our client services department.  Our client is a fast-paced organisation and are looking for someone that has worked in a similar type of role.  We specialise in the supply of POS/POP within the temporary and permanent display industry.


Role & Responsibilities:



  • Ensure that the service delivery levels are kept above the client’s expectations.

  • Conduct in-person client meetings (usually at our offices)

  • Take ownership of the overall management of the account.  Be the main point of contact.

  • Produce internal paperwork to brief into the wider team.

  • Produce CPA’s for more complex projects to share externally and internally.

  • Work closely with internal departments to deliver projects through the manufacturing facility.

  • Problem solving and working well with teams to ensure the delivery of goods to meet the customers’ requirements.

  • Maximise all sales opportunities and look for new opportunities.

  • Identify risks to the accounts both externally (competition and financial health) and internally (quality and delivery problems) before the client is ware of them.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasting to your line manager.

  • Keep your WIP’s up to date in a timely manner.


 


The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and abilities:



  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, XL and Word

  • Follow all relevant procedures set out.

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable.

  • Have good attention to detail, administrative skills and communication skills

  • Possess a positive attitude.

  • Be organised in their approach to the working day.

  • Possess good time management.

  • Have an ability to work with other departments towards a shared goal.

  • Be able to work independently.

  • Have confidence working with differing personalities.

  • Carry out other duties as required.
