Location: Newry

Reports to: Sales and Marketing Director

The Role

As an Account Manager (Business Development), your primary focus will be on maximising revenue and identifying growth opportunities within an existing client base. By offering tailored, sustainable, and innovative solutions, you'll strengthen client partnerships and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Develop strategic account plans to uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed sales growth targets by fully utilising existing client relationships.
  • Conduct regular reviews to assess client satisfaction and understand evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and solution implementation.
  • Monitor client and market trends to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and activity updates in the CRM system.
  • Provide detailed reports and performance updates to the Sales and Marketing Director.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in desk-based sales with a proven ability to manage and grow client accounts.
  • A highly motivated individual with strong account management or business development skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
  • A strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Professional, credible communication skills, both written and verbal.
