Account Manager (Education)

Milton Keynes

18 month fixed term contract

£36,500.00 per annum

Are you a passionate and professional Account Manager with an interest in the Education industry? Do you thrive in an autonomous role where you are trusted to manage your own diary and prioritise your own workload? If so, this is the role for you! Our client is looking for a strong relationship builder with experience of national and international stakeholder management (online and face to face) to drive continuous improvement of their Partner in Learning Scheme for Higher Education Institutions. You will play a pivotal role in informing them of the benefits of the scheme and seek new opportunities for partnership working. You will take ownership of ensuring partners feel valued whilst encouraging routes for their students.

Your responsibilities as an Account Manager (Education) will include:


  • Managing and monitoring the growth and development of the Partner in Learning scheme for Higher Education Institutes, collecting feedback and using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining the benefits and resources of the Partner in Learning scheme and seeking opportunities for development by monitoring effectiveness and impact, staying updated on trends and implementing best practice.
  • Organising and delivering the annual conference and student events. Representing the company at university open days, learning conferences, etc.
  • Acting as the primary contact for Higher Education Institutions’ Partners in Learning. Ensuring efficient handling of day-to-day queries as well as the requirement to meet regularly with our Partners in Learning face to face and online to build on our exceptional working relationships.
  • Supporting the Head of Learning and Professional Education Manager in supporting existing and new strategic degree partnerships.
  • Identifying of Higher Education Institutions suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate bursaries and maintaining links with academics responsible for bursary arrangements at the Higher Education Institution.

To be a successful Account Manager (Education) you must be:


  • An excellent communicator and relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Educated to Degree level (preferable).
  • Experienced in multiple stakeholder management, face to face and virtually.
  • Confident with using a variety of IT systems and software packages.
  • Aware of issues facing Higher Education Institutions.
  • Highly organised with experience of managing administration processes.
