Role: Account Manager – Local/ Central GovernmentLocation: London (Hybrid)Salary: £75k – £90k + Double OTE + Car AllowanceWe are looking for a Senior Account/ Sales Manager who wants to join an established team and is highly motivated to create new opportunities, build strategic relationships, secure new clients and make a difference to our customer engagement.Job Role:Creating specific development plans for existing and new clients to create new opportunities, including contact strategies for predictable business development.Building relationships with existing and new clients and maintain an understanding of their business and networks.Establishing a strong portfolio of well qualified business opportunities, demonstrating an understanding of customer buying criteria and process.Acting as the client’s trusted advisor and point of contact to help with the creation of business enhancing IT strategies.Providing proactive client value and leadership to new and existing clients to establish us as the go to partner for innovation and strategic solutions.Developing effective ROI modelling to demonstrate the financial benefits to the client.Maintaining relationships with strategic partners and vendors to leverage opportunities.As a client champion, support the effective engagement of colleagues in accordance with aspiration to improve customer experience.Encourage changes and development of new and existing products and solutions.Proactively support regional sales strategy including direction, investment, partners and events.Requirements:Experience in local authorities sales experience working across customers in London and has the appropriate skills to build relationships.Proven experience in winning new contracts from local authorities in a competitive environment.Existing stakeholder relationships across public sector.Strong business development shaping of multiple opportunities.Strong understanding of IT, digital and data requirements and drivers in respect of the local government sector.Experience of Microsoft, AWS and Cisco products.Experience of working across Public Sector frameworks.Experienced developing pricing/business case models.Has strong communication and presentation skills.familiar with the structure and framework of local government organizations.Customer focusedCan quickly build an understanding of the customer’s organization and requirements.Benefits:Double OTE25 days holiday (rising to 27)£10,000 car allowanceA company-matched pension.Competitive Life Insurance.The option to buy extra leave.Chance to work with a market leading driven team.
