Account Manager

A new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a fast growing and successful Energy, technology and data lead business.

The role is to increase customer satisfaction, retention and improvement of existing major customer accounts.

You will already have some Account Management experience within the Energy industry and are looking to expand your skills and knowledge further and to grow your career.

You will be experienced in generating quotes, discovering other areas within an existing customer and upselling products while connecting with other departments to ensure exceptional service is provided at all times.

Fantastic communication skills are essential, strong stakeholder management and a good listener is required for this role. Meeting customers face to face to build the relationship and to maximise business opportunities.

Please note; there is hybrid working on offer of two days in the office and three days working from home per week.

You would be required to attend around 2-3 face to face customer meetings per month and all expenses are compensated for.

Skills/experience and attributes required:

* Minimum of two years’ experience as an Account Manager

* Experience of working within the Energy sector is essential

* Experience of ‘vertical’ sales

* Willing to and enjoys learning new systems and procedures

* Experience of Word, Excel and Outlook – some basic PowerPoint is required

* Reliable and accountable for own work

* Good at setting customer expectations

* Strong Stakeholder management

* Delivery focused with exceptional customer service

* Good listening skills
