Account/Project Manager, Northampton, to£36k
Established and successful company within POS/POP arena now has an opening within their team for an experienced client facing Account Manager who also possesses good Project Management skills.
The ideal person will be a confident communicator with the ability to build good relationships with the client and will have a project Account or Project Management background from within the Point of Sale/Point of Purchase, Retail Design or Shopfit Sector.
Reporting to the Account Director the successful Account Management will be the main point of contact for a number of high profile clients helping them with any queries they may have. You will have a small team which will assist you in the day-to-day project management of client works from design through to installation.
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
· Attending client meetings.
· Take detailed client briefs and brief Designers and internal teams as required to ensure everyone is fully aware of the client’s needs and expectations.
· Agree/Maintain Service Levels.
· Produce cost estimates.
· Budget management.
· Produce work programmes and schedules.
· Exercise effective supplier negotiations
· Manage retail display projects from design to installation, ensuring runs smoothly and is completed on time and within budget.
· Attend site installations to oversee each project completion.
· Maintain accurate records of projects.
· Liaise with stakeholders of all levels and meet client’s requirements.
· Raise sales and purchase orders in accordance with procedures.
Requirements:
· Must have prior Account Management experience gained from within the POS/POP and Shopfitting sector.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft office
· Excellent spoken and written English skills
· Experience of AutoCad (would be an advantage)
· Ability to read technical plans (essential)
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines and stay within budget
· Attention to detail
· Driving licence (ideally clean)
Hours of work 40 per week, hours are 9-5pm
