Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager required to join a leading global distributor of mechanical engineering products.
The Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will work remotely, mainly covering�Hampshire and Dorset�selling various MRO products such as bearings, power transmission, pumps, seals, lubricants, fasteners, industrial gearboxes or similar MRO products.
The Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will�ideally�have experience selling or managing key accounts for mechanical or industrial engneering products. Full product training provided.

Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Role
  • Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers within the mechanical engineering industry. Selling into industries such as marine, food & bev, oil & gas, power generation, water and more.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling bearings, power transmission, pumps, seals, lubricants, fasteners, industrial gearboxes and or similar mechanical engineering products..
  • Maintaining new MRO sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the Internal Sales Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Work remotely covering Hampshire and Dorset.
Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Requirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar�within mechanical engineering.
  • Must have experience of face to face meetings and booking appointments to see customers on a weekly basis.
  • Will�ideally�have experience selling�a mechanical or engineering products. Full product training provided.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering markets.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites predominantly Hampshire and Dorset.
