Job Description

Brook Street are delighted to be working with one of our key clients, a well known Accountancy firm based in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a well-established firm where they will have full responsibility of managing a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accounts for limited companies and sole traders.
• Prepare monthly corporation tax calculations.
• Produce calculations for tax payments.
• Preparation of VAT returns on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Ad hoc duties around share restructure.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE).
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in management and statutory accounts.
• Highly proficient in Excel and knowledge of Iris, QuickBooks or Xero.
• Proactive attitude with strength to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
