Fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join an SME business based in High Wycombe. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for financial and management reporting, tax, treasury and payroll.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the daily running of the finance function.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting system ensuring the accuracy of the financial ledgers.
- Managing cashflow and regular forecasting
- Managing project costing systems
- Monthly invoices/applications for payment
- Payroll / expenses
- Accounts Payable and Credit Control responsibilities
- Bank accounts management including reconciliations and liaison with Banks
- Reviewing year-end statutory accounts - prepare audit schedules / providing necessary documentation
- Managing taxation affairs - Corporation Tax, VAT, NI, PAYE
- Reporting directly to the Board of Directors
- Provide monthly management accounts to the Board
- Managing 2 administration staff
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA / ACCA Finance professional
- High proficient with Excel
