The Ideal Person ATI/AAT qualified/ACA, ACCA, CIMA part qualified (or equivalent) Experience of working within an Accounts Payable and an Accounts receivable function within a finance team. Experience of managing a team of staff to deliver outcomes against competing priorities. The ability to work on own initiative, delivering results and managing work in a complex and fast moving environment and subject to competing priorities. Responsibilities Assist the lead accountant in the Project Finance Team, who report directly to the Project Director. Support day to day management and governance of the assigned Departmental Expenditure Limit. Manage an Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable function. Assist with all these functions and assist that the team manage and ensure purchase orders are raised, payments are processed within recommended timescales, and monitor project procurement contracts, invoices, payments, and payment trackers. Assist with the management of the Finance admin team. Review and approval of invoicing, payments and purchase orders, ensure the payments are processed within recommended timescales. Completion of various finance returns as necessary. Review and completion of Journals Assist with tracking of budget spend. Report of budget and spend positions to SEO Accountant via Management information and formal meetings, Contribute to financial planning exercises including profiling of Project Budget.
