ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR - Ballymena SALARY: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract Opportunity (office-based) Reed Accountancy is partnered with a fantastic client in Ballymena in the recruitment of an Accounts Administrator to join their team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term basis - with the potential to be offered a permanent contract! Working within a brilliant accounts team, this role involves processing a high number of sub-contractor invoices, and ensuring correct procedures/processes in relation to VAT, CIS and RCT are followed: Key responsibilities include: File / categorise incoming invoices Accurately process a high volume of subcontractor invoices Dealing with invoice / account queries Assisting with preparation of Sub-Contractor payments Assisting with CIS / RCT returns Running and distributing monthly reports What you'll need to succeed! 2+ years' experience working in a similar role in the Construction Sector A sound working knowledge of CIS / RCT and current VAT legislation and the ability to put this knowledge into practice Proficient in Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables and advanced formulas Experience working with an accounts package such as SAGE Strong attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team For more information, including package details, please contact Mary at Reed Belfast, apply via this advert, or contact me confidentially on LinkedIn.
