We are looking for an experienced�Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a small accounts department within industry leading manufacturing business.�
To ensure an effective process with their suppliers, ensuring good communication to manage supplier expectations and to ensure that purchasing costs are recognised in a timely fashion. Monthly Statements reconciled and Bacs payments produced.
Ledger experience & Credit Control is essential.�
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of supplier invoices, credit notes, payments and any other authorised transaction into the accounts payable ledger
- Processing of franchise invoices and credits
- Match invoices to purchase orders
- Reconciliation of purchase ledger accounts
- Management of supplier statements
- Resolve supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
- Communication with suppliers in respect of payments
- Liaise with managers to ensure invoices are authorised
- Expenses management
- Process daily banking
- Review till and cash accounts
- Reconcile Petty Cash
- Process Payments, Expenses, Finance Settlements and any other payments onto bank
- Assist with month end duties
Technical Competencies:
- A key eye for detail and accurate data entry skills
- Strong PC skils
- relevent Account Qualifications - Full or Part Qualified
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
Salary is �25,000 Pro Rata - 25 to 30 hours a week
