We are looking for an experienced�Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a small accounts department within industry leading manufacturing business.�



To ensure an effective process with their suppliers, ensuring good communication to manage supplier expectations and to ensure that purchasing costs are recognised in a timely fashion. Monthly Statements reconciled and Bacs payments produced.



Ledger experience & Credit Control is essential.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Processing of supplier invoices, credit notes, payments and any other authorised transaction into the accounts payable ledger

  • Processing of franchise invoices and credits

  • Match invoices to purchase orders

  • Reconciliation of purchase ledger accounts

  • Management of supplier statements

  • Resolve supplier queries in a professional and timely manner

  • Communication with suppliers in respect of payments

  • Liaise with managers to ensure invoices are authorised

  • Expenses management

  • Process daily banking

  • Review till and cash accounts

  • Reconcile Petty Cash

  • Process Payments, Expenses, Finance Settlements and any other payments onto bank

  • Assist with month end duties



Technical Competencies:




  • A key eye for detail and accurate data entry skills

  • Strong PC skils

  • relevent Account Qualifications - Full or Part Qualified

  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure



Salary is �25,000 Pro Rata - 25 to 30 hours a week
