As well as exposure to accounts and tax preparation work, this role also involves assisting clients to ensure they are getting the most from their financial information in year rather than just seeing it as an annual process.

What would your day to day look like?
- Preparing and reviewing annual accounts up to trial balance from the source documents supplied. This would be both business and personal tax returns.
- Preparing management accounts for presentation to clients.
- Compilation and submission of VAT returns in a timely manner.
- Compilation and submission of CIS returns.
- Helping other team members and taking part in developing trainees.
Skills & Experience that would be required:
- Level 4 AAT qualified.
- Experience working within practice accountancy.
- Good communication skills.
- An experience of a range of accounting software.
