Accounts Assistant

NXTGEN is excited to be working with our long standing client recruit for an Accounts Assistant. The role of Accounts assistant is a newly created role due to the continued expansion of this thriving business. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role within the finance team, collaborating with the Group Financial Controller and business leads across the group. Your contributions will support financial reporting and analysis that drive business decisions.

What you'll be doing:

• Posting bank transactions.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Managing fixed assets.
• Handling month-end adjustments, including prepayments and accruals.
• Gaining exposure to preparing month-end management accounts across the group.
• Providing cover for the sales and purchase ledger team.
• Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.

What we're looking for:

• AAT Level 4 qualified or currently studying towards it.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with Sage 50 is a plus

This role can be on a full or part time basis (25hrs minimum), its a permanent fully onsite role with an early finish of 2pm of Fridays.
