Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Working Hours: Standard hours with a 2pm finish on Fridays�
About the Role:
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic and growing trading group. The role has been created due to the continued success of our multiple companies, which are involved in the design, development, manufacturing, and logistics of home and beauty products. These products are sold to well-known brands and through e-commerce channels. As a key member of the finance team, you will work closely with the Group Management Accountant and business leads across the trading companies to support the day-to-day accounting functions and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Posting of bank transactions.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing fixed assets and ensuring proper tracking.
- Assisting with month-end adjustments, including prepayments and accruals.
- Exposure to month-end preparation of management accounts across the group.
- Providing cover for the sales and purchase ledger teams as needed.
- Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements.
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum of AAT Level 4 or actively studying towards completion.
- Experience in a similar accounts assistant or finance role.
- Knowledge of Sage 50 is beneficial, but not required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and business leads.
- Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced, growing environment.
