We are a renowned legal firm based in the heart of Worcester, known for our expertise, professionalism, and dedication to client service. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the firm, including accounts payable and receivable.

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

  • Undertake credit control duties, including monitoring outstanding payments, contacting clients for overdue invoices, and resolving payment issues.

  • Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end reporting.

  • Provide support for payroll processing and other financial duties as required.

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to address finance-related queries professionally and efficiently.



What We’re Looking For:




  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant role, preferably within a professional services environment.

  • Strong knowledge of credit control processes and excellent communication skills for client interactions.

  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
