Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Pontypridd - Office-based with potential for hybrid working in the future
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (09:00-17:00)
The Role:

Purchase Ledger Management:
\nAccurately and efficiently record supplier invoices.
\nLiaise with remote sites to ensure timely submission of invoices.
\nRequest supplier statements and perform reconciliations.
\nEnsure all invoices are entered correctly and efficiently on a weekly basis.
\nReconcile creditors weekly and at month-end to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
\nProcess supplier payments promptly to maintain smooth operations across sites.
\nSales Ledger & Credit Control:
\nCreate and issue sales invoices daily, ensuring they align with authorised job details.
\nLiaise with sites to resolve discrepancies in invoice amounts.
\nManage customer payments, including chasing overdue accounts.
\nOther Key Responsibilities:
\nMaintain fixed asset records.
\nReconcile bank and credit card accounts.
\nReconcile fuel transactions and utility bills for multiple sites.
\nOversee Ebay/Amazon purchases and other ad-hoc finance tasks.
\nAbout You:
\nProven experience in a similar finance role, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping processes.
\nProficiency in Excel and Word, with essential experience using SAGE 50 or NetSuite.
\nAAT qualification or equivalent experience is desirable but not mandatory.
\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
\nHighly organised, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
