The Role:



As an Accounts Assistant, you will:




  • Prepare financial statements for a range of SME clients (Limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders).

  • Develop management accounts.

  • Draft tax computations for review.

  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and HMRC (both orally and in writing).

  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a seamless client experience.

  • Proactively manage client relationships.



About You:



We are looking for candidates who possess:




  • Proven experience in company and partnership accounts preparation.

  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Solid technical knowledge and IT proficiency.

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

  • A demonstrated track record of successful teamwork.

  • Adaptability, strong organisational skills, and a commercial mindset.
