Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Match, batch, and code invoices while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Handle supplier queries via phone and email, providing prompt and professional responses.
- Assist with month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support internal audits when required.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant role, specifically within purchase ledger processing.
- Ability to manage high volumes of invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
